Just wondering.
If I have a site which is about 5 years old and receives a couple hundreds of visitors a day.
And its url contains an hyphen.
After some years, the url without hyphen becomes available.
If I buy the domain without hyphen and redirect it with a 301, without changing the default url (= with hyphen).
1. Can I expect a significant increase of traffic just because people spontaneously type the address without hyphen?
2. Is there any chance of penalty from Google when
